WHO WE ARE
SCA&R is a non-profit 501c3 registered organization serving the greater Los Angeles area. We're animal lovers on a mission to get our furry friends off the streets and into loving homes. Our organization operates through local fosters and private kennel in Silicon Beach with the help of charitable donors and volunteers, all of whom share our belief that #Furrylivesmatter.
WHAT WE DO
Our mission is to save as many strays and unwanted pets as possible. We work day and night, collaborating with animal control, local vets, and numerous other rescue organizations, re-locating animals to safe, temporary environments until suitable homes can be found. SCA&R kennel is equipped to house up to 150 critters, and we routinely work with local fosters and farms when our facility reaches capacity. Through grants and the charitable donations of our friends, we are able to vet all of our critters before rehoming them.
